Maverx Foundation and its Academy
Deep-rooted in history, science and innovation, Collider supports Maverx Foundation and its Academy bringing forth the legacy of Mario Veronesi ‘anchor entrepreneur’, maverick of his time and founder of Mirandola Biomedical District back in the 1960s. Maverx Academy is a school of innovation offering different learning strands into the future of health for people and the planet.
The proprietary Maverx Mastering Entrepreneurship Program provides maverick technologists and science-based entrepreneurs a pathway to feed their ideas and commercialise their solutions to bring value-based innovation to market.

Our Team
Our experienced team of investment and consulting professionals works closely with developing companies to provide strategic guidance and support which can range from project incubation & planning to commercialisation & funding or growth & exit.
A 30+ years career in corporate finance, investment banking and wealth management. Christian has created a “demand based” deployment model that allows rapid commercialization of ideas, and a method of valuation and funding to motivate the stakeholders whilst minimizing risks to the investors. He believes in a hands-on approach to mentoring companies with a 3–5-year vision of strategic growth.
MAVERX FOUNDATION CHAIRPERSON
Francesca Veronesi
In 2018 Francesca, together with her family, founded Maverx Biomedical Futures, an Italian
non-profit foundation that promotes innovation and entrepreneurial culture in the biomedical
district of Mirandola. The mission of the foundation is to keep the legacy of Mario Veronesi alive
and current. Francesca’s father, Mario was a ‘maverick’ of his time, and founder of the largest
med-tech industrial district in Europe.
HEAD OF RESEARCH
Atul Mohan
Strategy Consultant with experience in management consulting and leveraging technology for
impact creation. He has worked on several engineering and developmental consulting projects
in Asia, Europe and Africa. He has had extensive international experience in Kuwait, India, and
Europe. He holds a master’s degree in Management and International Business from IE
Business School, Madrid.
